In your roll as Senior Java Developer you will lead a team of dedicated Java professionals. You will work according to agile principles and scrum methodology. This involves:
- Inspect and adapt
- Retrospectives,
- XP practices like Test Driven Development & Pair Programming
- Etcetera.
By utilizing Agile methodologies like Scrum and XP practices we are successful in development, which means on time, on budget and high quality. Innovation is crucial to our growth, development is at the core of our company. The IT Department is not a cost center, but a profit center, you will make a difference. You will lead (30%) and develop software (70%).
Your responsibilities and tasks:
- Team lead (scrum master): guiding, managing and coaching the developers and testers (30%)
- Working on implementing software solutions for our JAVA/JEE systems based on the JBoss Seam framework. Your team is responsible for converting our business requirements into working software, all in the context of our international expansion. (70%)
- Design, realization, testing, implementing and improving; you’re involved in the complete process!

In order to get the job as JAVA Developer it is essential that you are prepared to invest in yourself, eager to learn and to excel. You have the ability to think analytically with a strong focus on results. Also it's a must to have:
- Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in IT/technical
- Knowledge of / Interested in JSF, Inversion of Control, Domain Driven Design, patterns, software architecture, lightweight enterprise development, Test Driven Development, FitNesse
- Experience with Java EE and open source products (Seam, Hibernate, Ant, Maven, CVS/Subversion)
- Knowledge of the following products is an advantage: Linux, Apache, Tomcat, Glassfish, MySQL, XML and JSP
- Experience as a team lead / scrum master is an important advantage
- A passion for Internet and its opportunities.
